The story
Harriet, awkward and self-conscious, is stunned when the chief of surgery locks the on-call room for some private training, while the head nurse who wants her gone waits outside.
Our take
A hospital rivalry with an underdog at its center: Harriet is awkward and self-conscious, the chief of surgery locks the on-call room, and the head nurse who wants her fired waits outside. The power gap and the threat outside the door are what drive it.
Without labels it stays out of label browsing. The opening shows the first private training session; the paid run is the rivalry with the nurse playing out.
